Henley-on-Thames, England — Fighting off a strong crew from Methodist College (Belfast), Merion Mercy's varsity four has advanced to the Groton School Challenge Cup finals at the 2011 Women's Henley Regatta. The crew led from the start, extended its lead late, and ultimately won by two lengths. Merion will race for the championship at 3:45 pm (GMT).
